I have just begun the writting of a hopefully succesfull book series. The first book is called Lanny. The opening area is in a vast land called the Lokia Desert. Is this the right forum to post it in?

all writing would go in the fanfic forum. It doesnt have to be about code lyoko...it could be any writing in general.

Hmm.. well, technically speaking it shouldn't be in fanfiction because it's not fanfiction, it's an original work. But then, I'm not really sure.

I think I'll leave it here.

However, I will say this: due to the fact that there's nothing here that really inspires discussion, it seems a bit spammy. If I were you I'd've given more information about your book and etc... As-is you just have 'Hey ya'll, I'm writing a book,' which most of the other members will ignore.

Okay... More info on it:
The starting place is about 10 years in the past, the building of the Lokia Town. The only problem is the monstrous sandstorms. The town is situated in an oasis on the outer edges of the desert. Most buildings are wooden, except for 5 buildings, the shelters. The shelters hide people from the storms, but something is not right. At the present day, the townspeople are preparing for war over the control of the oasis. A mighty media empire wants to use the oasis as a base for a new reality show, but the townspeople fear that it will ruine their way of life. Then, one night, war breaks out. The mayor of the town is killed in an attempt to scare the villagers off.
