As for sector 5 it is a great possibility that it could of been there from the very start, but the monsters i dont think so. like i stated earlier a few kankerlots were a few times all they ever encountered on lyoko and that seemed to stop them back then. It was a rare occation to see a blok and even more rare to see a krabe. I do not think that back then XANA could have monsters such as the creeper and the flying mantis. As for the skipazoa, i think aileita has a program or a code locked away in her memory that may be the key to stopping XANA (a system restart or a firewall) But all we know is that if the gang does not stop XANA soon, it may just be too late.

Pesonally, I'm guessing that Lyoko is only a XANA evolution or two from becoming a self-supported world, without needing the physical Super-Calculator to maintain it.
Nah - the programming is contained within the computer so it's always gonna be needed (just to supply the power if anything).
Remember in Common Interest when Jeremie was fiddling with the power switch - Lyoko began to vanish.

I don't necessarily agree with that (especially since Digimon and CL are most likely not in the same continuity, let alone the same set of physics...), but even though I don't really feel like re-explaining my theory-- check the "Let's Talk Tech" thread-- Lyoko is not a "self-sustaining" world or parallel universe or whatever. There's only one power source for the supercomputer and hence, Lyoko-- the nuclear power cell. Otherwise it wouldn't have been fading out in Common Interest... (so tired of arguing this point...)

And that Digimon thing is crap indeed- as I just said, w/o a processor and storage you don't have Lyoko.
Cassius335 wrote:Ok, two things.
1) Why do so many people assume that being in a different continuity automatically means the series can't be used for comparison's sake?
2) I'm not saying it is self-sustaining. I'm saying that if XANA keeps growing in power, it might one day reach the point where Lyoko becomes a reality in it's own right, no nuclear battery required.

2.) That doesn't make any sense! XANA at least is contained within the parameters of physics and science fiction. He does things that -might- be able to happen (albeit its a stretch..), not things that -can't- happen-- fantasy. Anyway, Lyoko is located inside the computer. How can, essentially, a really big computer game for lack of a better term, become real?
