I'd like to stay away from changing the content rating of the show. Despite the wide variety of ages who watch the show, remember its still a 6-11 show, and little kids still watch it. I'd rather not have them ostracized from the show for a minor appeasal for its older audience members.

That being said, the could do a lot more mature story telling, like what Gargoyles does. More references to the past episodes and more consequences of former episodes affecting later episodes, though I wouldn't mind and even prefer it if the episodes don't directly connect to each other in a serial manner. Have atleast one death happen through Xana, atleast to give an idea of what happens.

Probably more balance of the defenders on Lyoko or atleast a more defined idea of there roles. For most of Season 2, Ulrich seems to be dominating in terms of monster killing and survibility. Would like if say they were all balanced in how many they kill and how often they survive, or something like letting Odd be the best monster killer for the most part, since he enjoys doing it and treats the place like a real life video game, but because of his reckless nature dies much more often.

Some more consistency between monster attacks. The monsters attack power seems always out there, defenders sometimes taking multiple hits from a monster one episode, barely survinving the next. Still don't get how the Tarantulas in Temptation were able to kill off Odd and Ulrich with one shot with 20 hp lasers. They can take 3 hits from normal Creepers with 40 hp lasers but not one from Tarantulas?

An episode where they don't go to Lyoko. Lyoko is a 2nd life to the gang, and Xana doesn't attack every day. Atleast give us 30 mins where the gang is just being the gang. What they do on their off hours, maybe a little character disection. Would be nice.

And its hard to beat "Let's Talk Tech". That topic is fairly mind provoking, something that spawns argument, and has subjects to debate for 2 seasons. This topic is seems more of a fantasy what if topic that in most cases don't spawn much discussion other than hey thats a good idea or thats a bad idea, lets elaborate, or the fact that you put in trying to rival the tech thread that they might spawn a paragraph similar to the one I'm writing right now. Atleast you have one thing your thread has over tech, you have more different posters. "Lets talk tech" is pretty much dominated by 5 or 6 people, with a few people popping in and out with minor thoughts or questions.

if i didnt notice the little TV-Y7 box in the corner, I would definitely have to think it was PG-13. just with some of the scenes they have shown and all.

It simply would had been PG. Just give them alcohol and a bit more of cussing and the rating will raise. For my own interests, I would like to have CL at night instead of watching it during the morning (stupid Jetix for Peru showed Mister Puck... god, when they're going to show something new?)

thats very true. but you also have to think for a second here. gargoyles is an old show. I dont even remember when it first aired. was sometime way back when I was in my wee elementary years. this was back when the government wasnt so damn strict about PC (politically correctness) so alot of shows literally got away with murder back then (not saying this is wrong or anything, just stating fact). nowadays, show creators have to constantly be on their toes if they want to keep a specific rating.

I would add more "plot" episodes, remove Yumi's brother, and give William a bigger role. That's about it.

But on the issue of Yumi's brother and William, I would cut the annoy brat of a brother, but William, I would get rid of the concept of him try to woo Yumi.

'Annoy', eh? For one, it'd be 'annoying', and for two, he'd sweet and uber-cute. I say keep him!

I would be very glad if this happened just once. It's something I've thought about a couple of times over the past few weeks, and I don't think it would be too hard now with the Yumi/Ulrich/William thing. Speaking of William, the last episode he appeared in chronologically was Vertigo, so it would be great if they did this in the next episode he appears in.

I'd also like Hiroki to appear for more than just a minute or so every couple of episodes, or maybe even one where he's in most of it.

I would be very glad if this happened just once. Personally, I would have XANA physical form as a mix of Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) from the Matrix, Henri Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul (Liam Neeson) from Batman Begins and Skynet from Terminator, with the single objective of staying ‘alive.’

Why (except for the staying alive thing, that's kinda given)?

More to the point, where would he get the DNA from?

Good ideas, I'd add / change the following:

- Show how the team got together in the first place - maybe a flashback episode, if it's not done cheesily.

- Explain a little more how the Lyoko supercalculator works, such as how the RTTP works and how the team retain their memories.

- Unless this already is going to happen somehow, a new character could be introduced in one of the seasons and become a new member of the Lyoko team. In a non-obvious way, towards the end he'd be revealed as a clone created by XANA, who has become much more advanced. More guest characters would be cool too.

I am thinking along the terms that XANA gains a physical form inside Lyoko. I would make him as a calm person, very open with the kids, afraid of nothing but a system shut down. And totally kicks arse with something like a bo-staff or another close range weapon.

I'm with animenologist on this one (evil Aelita/Jeremie hybrid), with personality to match (though Odd's sense of humour is starting to rub off on him). In Lyoko powers would probably be similar to Aelita's...and he wouldn't NEED the scanners to travel to Earth (though that may be later down the line)

As for the RTTP's: they're part of the shows character.

If you ask me, that isn't really XANA would do. Buts it's all down to opinion here.
Like I've said before, my XANA would be like Liam Neeson (who gave a great performance in Batman Begins).

All my ideas here have all been for CL live action film. To direct, I would like someone like Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Millions), Mike Newell (Harry Potter 4) or Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins).
For the composer, I’ll have: James Newton Howard (King Kong, Batman Begins…again), anybody involved in Hans Zimmer (pretty much anything), Harry Gregson-Williams (Metal Gear Solid, Shrek, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), Steve Jablonsky (Steamboy, the Island)…it goes on and on.

And like I’ve said, I would go for a darker felling and aim for a Certificate for 12A in the UK and a PG-13 in the USA
