That would be A Bad Turn. And actually, the answer to my question was St. Valentines Day. Aelita kissed Jeremie while under Xana's possession. Reason why I put in "under any circumstance" in parentheses.

Actually, Aelita first uses her "Terrain Shift power before that in "Holiday in the Fog". In the forest region, she gets the stepping stones in the pond to grow taller so she can hopscotch over to the tower. ^_^

The answer to my question was Big Bug. Seeing is Believing was Ulrich's first battle, but he wasn't devirtualized in battle.
As for the current question, I'm thinking Code: Earth. Its the only episode I remember where Odd wore sunglasses (in his music video). Though that might be wrong.
