With the airing of The Key and Revelation today, what are your theories on what Seasons 3 and 4 have in store?
First off, what the f*** happened in that massive Franz Hopper/Aileta energy thing, and second, what happens now that XANA has Lyoko's "keys"? What happened to the big a** wormhole above the factory?
I have ideas but I need to leave right now. I'll be back.

I know! It's like XANA stole Aelita's keys, killed Lyoko, and then this apocalyptic specter VORTEX appeared above the factory...
And then Franz brought her back to life and they were like "k let's go back to school now."
WTF?
I guess Seasons 3 and 4 are gonna be about them fighing XANA in the real world, since he's no longer bound to the computer....

But LYoko is still necessary if there's any chance of getting Franz Hopper back. I'll be glad to see more real-world emphasis, though. This opens up so many new attacj possibilities for XANA, and might mean the show will move away from forulaic episodes.

XANA is now in the real world and doesn't need lyoko any more

Yes but of course the gang needs Lyoko to free Franz Hopper. Now Jeremie and Hopper can influence real world objects through the towers without XANA interfering? or Perhaps some of XANA is still bound to Carthage, thus still making him able to influence Lyoko.

Well that vortex reminded me of Neopets "Jhudoras Cloud" But if Xana is in the real world how can he do anything? Besides I'm wondering if he can physically attack the kids instead of getting his ghost. Also since I use to live in France I know more about the other seasons than all of you,

I think the vortex was XANA escaping. However, something like that also looks like a release of power, so maybe he won't be as all-mighty as the gang's thinking? PErhaps he's escaped but fragmented, and it'll turn back into more season 1 type attacks.

I know, seriously!! He's a freaking VIRUS. Viruses use COMPUTERS. He was only able to influence the real world through the supercalculator and ZPE. How the **** is he supposed to do anything after he escaped?

This might be better suited for the Tech Thread but that vortex might well be one end of a giant SAP - giant in that it had 41 towers powering it.

If he's escaped, then XANA obivously has to be much more powerful. Now maybe there's the chance to see more than just two attacks and several natural disasters. We might see the black could things like on Season 1 to see XANA pulling off an attack... but I think one of these days we're gonna see Waldo Schaeffer. He might know something about Hopper, Lyoko and Carthage.

I would think that they still need to keep it a secret. Revealing Aelita and his connection to Lyoko and Franz Hopper could mean capture and detainment by the military if they ever find out. At the very least, finding out she is not Odd's cousin may be grounds for expulsion of our dear Lyoko gang.

Well, I've heard that Season 3 mainly continues the Franz Hopper storyline. Maybe Hopper can help control XANA, even if XANA's no longer on Lyoko.

I think in the eps i heard something wrong, or CL took out a big clip. They ignore the giant cloud above the factory, In Revelation I thought I heard them say that Aileta was not related to Franz. Something is really confusing here.

frankly: i dont trust the info on tv.com as far as i can chuck it.
last "good" info I heard was that season 3 was supposed to be very short. something like 15 episodes and is mainly meant as a "bridging" between season 3 and season 4. in which season 4 is supposed to be the long season worth the 45 episodes mentioned.
