Anyone know of any school where the students can 'run wild', not show up at class, skip meals, leave campus, etc. and the teaching staff could care less? I sure wish my schools had been run like that, man! See ya-K&K :*D
Can't wait for Seasons 3 and 4 now that XANA is loose on Earth!-Keiman
Thanks and see ya soon-K&K

I think I heard somewhere that in Europe the schools are a bit more laid back. Then again, I wouldn't know.

Man I WISH my school was like that. Otherwise I'd be skipping most of the day. And just go wherever I wanted to during class and lunch. Well, lunch I can basically do that now but the tricky part is not getting caught.

I skipped 7th period in 7th grade once. XD It was great until we got busted and got ISS for 5 days during lunch.
I don't know what to put here anymore...

Kadic, although allegedly a secondary/junior-high school, shows near equal laxness regarding tardiness as my University - where we can get away with anything short of murder as long as we turn up at our two-a-week seminars and hand our work in by the deadline.

Yeah.. they called it Kadic Junior High back in S1, and now it's Kadic Academy. I suppose to make it sound more like a private school. (well it is, isn't it? just because the gang doesn't have to wear uniforms doesn't mean anything...)

Anyway... TB3, didn't you make a post somewhere about the classes Kadic/Lakanal offered? I mean, we know they have science/biology/chemistry (they don't really stick to one topic *sweatdrop*), math, and social studies, etc. Odd has art class, Aelita, Odd, and Jeremie (at least) have Italian, and um.. I think that's all we know.

They pretty much give you a slap on your wrist here if you're late (although if you're late three times in the quarter you get a detention), but they absolutely -kill- you if you miss school. I mean, they like don't let the teachers give you your homework and you get zeros on them if the absence is unexcused. That's why I had perfect attendance until that one day when I had a fever and I probably would've died if I went to school lol

It's probably both a junior high and high school. Odd, Ulrich, Jeremie, and Aelita are in eighth grade, which would be the junior high section of the school. Yumi's in ninth grade, which would be the high school section. The whole thing would be called Kadic Academy.

I really wish my school was as relaxed as Kadic. Once, I was so sick that I was crying, and they wouldn't let me go home! My English teacher even made me give a speech that day! Needless to say, I failed, but I redid it. I really wish I could go to Kadic.*sigh*

I would love it if my school was as laid back as Kadic (of course, I probably still wouldn't miss any school.)

I've only been watching this show for a few weeks now, but I'm amazed at how many times they ask to go to the infirmiry, and not go. If my school even had one, I'm sure they would call down as someone would walk down there just to make sure the people there would know that they had someone coming.

And the private school I used to go to was even stricter (except, no uniforms. Thank goodness!)

When I was in 4th grade I used the 'Can I go to the Nurse' so many times that when I really did get sick and nearly passed out in gym no one believed me. And my Jr. High has cameras. so if you decide to spend your class in the bathroom or something they'll see you go in and never come out. :whatever: I've thought about skipping gym before though. Never did.

My school is so uptight. We have to use schol issied pencils, use our ID cards for everything, and pants have to be at least to the ankle bone. So all my jeans are two sizes larger and aways slipping down.

But I remind you this is a french school. There's half days on wednesday and saturday, no school on sundat, and the school days can last from six AM to 5PM.

Wow Angelbolt u go to school on Saturdays too? Is it a boarding school? I also noticed on one of the eps. today called 'Ghost Channel' Sissy said that Yumi wasn't a boarder, so that means that Yumi didn't stay in a dorm like the rest of them right?
