no first off i highly doubt it and second if there was it wouldnt "be in there" because lyoko is a parralel universe

Lyoko is NOT a parallel universe, and it was proven in "Common Interest." Why would it be slowly eradicated when the Super Calculator's nuclear power cell died if it was in a different dimension?

Anyway.. thanks for sending me the the email, Darkborn! (you're my bestest friend EVER!! ..besides Mewberries. Cuz she's gonna draw me holding a tray of n00b cookies in the LF pic ;))

lyoko itself wasnt dieing just the link to lyoko

SOME USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT ILE SEGUIN

I went looking for info on Ile Seguin and found some stuff which CL fanwriters etc might find interesting or useful.

*

The Factory was located on Ile. Seguin

It was approximately one kilometer long and consisted of 12 acres of land.

Technically The Renault Factory occupied the island and 30 more acres on either bank. However 'The Factory' as we know it was self-contained to the island and was given over to the actual production lines.

Because of this, the island building was mostly large, open halls such as our beloved Cathederal Room.

The island also had it's own Power Station complete with turbines and boilers, all located in the frontal part of the building with the ridged roof. The chimneys on the roof were the smokestacks and from old photos looked quite picturesqure spewing steam on cold days.

The upstream part of the island (which we have never seen), featured two interesting features - a test-track for the cars, and the spray-painting conveyor lines. The cages to contain the paint and most of the facility was still around when the building was knocked down.

There were large washrooms and lockerooms for the staff, and a mordern cafeteria.

Built in 1932, the island factory was also the site of several famous strikes, was occupied and used by the Nazis in WW2, and subsequently got bombed to oblivion by the RAF, after which it was rebuilt in the form we loved.

*

Hope people find this interesting.

The French government wants to turn a disused Renault car factory on an island in the River Seine west of Paris into a major European centre for artists, featuring workshops, homes and galleries, the prime minister said yesterday.

By Guardian Newspapers, 10/10/2005

The French government wants to turn a disused Renault car factory on an island in the River Seine west of Paris into a major European centre for artists, featuring workshops, homes and galleries, the prime minister said yesterday.

Dominique de Villepin said he wanted to create a "European centre of contemporary creation".

The site was to have hosted a prestigious museum to house the collection of one of France's richest men, Francois Pinault, until he pulled out in May, blaming red tape.

If it's gone through that much they had no right to tear it down, it should have been a national monument! Of course, that's just my opinion

Aww man. That makes me so sad. Even if I lived in France, I would have paid 300 dollars just to stand on the bridge and stare at the factory longingly... And that is no joke, I have the money. It would be a Code Lyoko fan's fantasy. I know it's mine. Too bad they had to turn a perfectly good fantasy into an unrealistic one. :arg:

I would too it is really a shame that they took it down replacing it with a museum they should put something in the museum stating that CL show factory was based on that issland

And if they didn't put anything up for the factory, I'd make an exibit and yell at anyone who tried to take it down. :pbthbb:

I think I found out about it.. um... when I was looking at a French website. Come to think of it, I don't really remember how I figured out it was French.. because I found UMSD by searching for Un Monde Sans Danger. Probably from going to CL.com, I dunno...
