Website help?

I am having a few problems with my website and was wondering if anyone here has used freewebs? if you have please help!

I am trying to register my domain and it all went fine, but now i have had a letter of cancelation from them eventhough i didn't cancel my domin.

When i go to freewebs i seem to still have my domain.

If anyone elce uses freewebs could they please (if they know) explain what is going on as i am terribly confused

To Osiris: when did you cancel your account? They may just be slow in shutting everything down.

I'm looking at your site right now and it definitely appears to be non-functional for the most part.

Ok i e-maild tech support i sould get a reply tommorow (last time i contaced them they ignored me though)
I am thinking of getting a new host for my website if freewebs are giving me problems

yeah i got a refund on my domain just come through literaly 2 sec's ago so im looking for a nicly priced place to get a domain etc

DH is really for more advanced website owners, though. And considering the fact that you've just come from Freewebs, they may be too much for you.

P.S i don't know anything about HTML or stuff like that lol does that make a difference?

i have consided a free site but i don't really like the www.geosites.com/ or whatever but that goes in frount or your URL

I think i might need to lean a bit about web design lol

I apologise for the double post but I was wondering does anyone know how to submit your site into some popular search engines like Google or msn search?

I don't have any exact links, but I can give you vague directions.

Go to Google.com and search for something along the lines of "submit URL search engine" (if that doesn't work well, just play around with the keywords until something pops up). Among other things should be the link to Google's submission page, where you can enter some info into the system and then after a while they may actually add you into the site.

It takes time for search engine crawler-bots to find your website and index it, but it'll happen eventually. Just don't get frustrated.

Ugh...
I don't know how Freewebs manages its built-in domains, but having to have a different domain for the forum is a total waste of $15/year. Use a real registrar like mapname (mapname.com) and find some place that'll let you give your own domain (like InvisionFree for forums, not sure about sites if you want one of the FreeWebs-like wysiwyg-sitebuilder-thingy hosts)

you know i don't know how they manage there domains either lol

im using a free forum at the minute butmight change it if i get more members theres no real point in getting a fullyfleged payed for forum if i got no-one to use it

sorry again for the double post but i have upgraded my site a bit:

it now includes downloads for the theme tunes (or you can listen online)
a contact me sectoin
added partner sites section
i tool down images cos there wernt that many in there but it will be back!

erm star way do you mind if i put this site under partners?
