I guess I should start with a hello and a mini introduction...Okay so here goes...

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!! I can't believe I found a forum that has the VA for Ulrich. His calm and steady personality is the one of the many things that I like about him. Your voice for him is also superb This is like a privilge to be able to talk to so many VA's for one of the many cartoons that I love. I know I didn't immediatly post here when I got here but I want to take the time to post in the VA threads and then move on to the next one. I know I asked this from Mr. Geczy but I want to ask you as well:

Do you ever get scared when Ulrich is in a dangerous position/scene (i.e. fighting a XANA controlled person and is losing) or do you say "There'll be a mircle (sp?) and there's nothing to worry about"

Hi there dragon dasher! Nice to have you aboard! I'm glad you think that ulrich's sulks are lovable! That means you understand where he's coming from.
Of course I get anxious when Ulrich is in a tight spot, but in a fun way, like when you're about to take a ride on a rollercoaster...you have faith it'll all turn out ok, but there's that little doubt that makes it exciting.

O.O the real voice actor of Ulrich?! n.n i really please meet to you! oh, i was so very sad on the episode "Cold War" when Ulrich was very scared about Yumi trapped in that gigant ice..Ulrich was very worried about her, he used his cellular to call Jeremie, but it's out..he throwed..and its face was covered by its hands he began to cry..when i see that scene, i feel very sad for that..that was really hard for Ulrich..

that's a good question. Of course, you can fake it, any many actors do, and I also have done it in different series, usually comic, where it's not supposed to be realistic. but when a real emotion is called for, you have to feel it yourself, not just feel sad FOR Ulrich but sad for YOURSELF about something, something that means as much to you as Yumi does to Ulrich. Then you can connect to his situation. Also most of us VA's feel so connected to our characters sometimes that it's as if we're living what they're living. That's why it's so fun!

that's a good question.
