Season 3 clip

This happened around 9:55 shortly after a Foster's ended. The Miguzi commercial reminding us that they were now going from 4-6 (you think they would know we know by now.) Anyway they showed some old clips but the last one was interesting. It showed Odd in, well I'm not exactly sure.

It was foggy like the mountain region, but the ground looked brown instead of the purplish-gray that it normally is. I know it was in Lyoko though because of the now useless XANA cable in the background. The clip was only two seconds long.

So what do you think? Is this a new image of season 3 or did i just waste everyones time?

That clip is from "Teddygozilla". Odd (in the Desert Region) has just destroyed a MegaTank, giving a trademark "thumbs-up" of victory. The fog is actually smoke and debris from the recently destroyed Megatank.

That sure would have been neat though if it were an actual season 3 clip.

Erm...I think it was more of a purple-ish color...maybe periwinkle. The desert region, however, was more of a brownish orange in season 1, to be sure. ^^

Season 2 just ended a month ago on the States, not finished yet on France and LatinAmerica, the Uk hasn't got it yet... and there's an article on the Internet about some interview with Moonscoop saying that there will be less romantic scenes, more fighting instead.

Do you have a link to the interview?

I'll probably be in the minority with this, but I’m all for less romance, for season 3 anyway. A couple reasons, like Romance is fine in little doses, but it gets boring or outright annoying if there’s too much of it.

Romance also tends to slow down the pace of a story. That in itself ain’t necessarily a problem, but considering that XANA’s just escaped things’ll probably be going pretty darned fast, so a lot of romance’d probably just hinder things and get in the way of important plot point.

I think instead of "less romance" in Season 3, they should work it into the story better. It needs to take a backseat to the primary plot, unless it's directly related to the major events occurring. I think simply replacing it with more Xana-centric action would rob Code Lyoko of an important piece that separates it from the masses. They should take a "smarter" approach to the romance rather than "lesser" approach.
