So heres the deal: If a live action movie was to be made following the adult timeline of CL, which actor's do you think would be good choices for the group?
I just came back from watching the movie "Contact" and it just hit me that Jodi Foster seems to be a good candidate for Aelita to me. What do you think?

Could you clarify what you mean when you say 'The Adult Timeline' cos I'm not sure as to whether you mean the kids grown up, or all the backtory about Franz and Carthage etc.

And WHY is it set in the future? Surely any CL movie should be set as per S1 of the cartoon (the kids as teens, XANA in an early stage of his development, Aelita still stuck on Lyoko)

...Because it can. Use your imagination. This is hypothetically speaking, after all. Perhaps, for instance, when the series is over, AnteScoop decides to make an "Epilogue" type thing. Perhaps continuing their adventure further.
Anyway, that's all off-topic. Come up with some actors/actressess, guys!

Personally, I'd actually much rather see a "Present Day" live-action movie than a "Future" one. Kid actors (particularly "Unknowns") are often alot more fun to watch and the movie would have to rely more on good acting and story-telling (as Code Lyoko always has) for a "Present" setting than star power (which would be far more easier with a "Future" setting).

I was considering Dakota Fanning myself...although she might be too "recognizable"...she certainly has the sweet personality type to play the role though...and she's used to running from giant mechanical monsters!
She'd actually probably really be good for the part of Aelita in a "Present Day" setting. ^_^

I dont know if anyone else here has seen it, but this morning i saw a show that was on CN called "Zixx". I only caught little bits and peices, but I feel that made a great example of how CL could go live action in the present timeline.
