Episode idea: Power Loss (Odd-focused episode)

I suggest that his energy should be first drained whiile in Lyoko. Sector 5 is the location. As soon as the Scyphozoa's tentacles touch (still can't figure out where on Odd's body), a computer readout similar to the one that comes up when Aelita's memory is stolen appears. "What's going on? Ah--oh no!" Jeremie says.

The Scyphozoa could wrap it's tentacles around Odd and sorta pick him up while he drains him.

That's exactly what I was about to say. But instead of the Scyphozoa placing three tentacles at Odd's head, it just places two--conveniently, the ones that go at his temples.

No, they're gonna be in Lyoko trying to break the invisible force field. But unfortunately, the force field's too strong.

Hmm...we need to get Odd's energy out of him, but he has to be in hospital by the end of the first episode...

Perhpas he got lured off from the others recklessly persuing a new monster, and the the Scyph gets him. The others drive the Scyph off and get Odd out and back to Kadic, but he looses energy fast and has to be taken to hospital.

How's that - I even have a new monster in mind called the Scorpio!

Right, my Scorpio monster looks like this;

It's about 15 feet long. At the front and back are a gigantic pair of wheels, six feet in diameter and in between is a body like a Krabbe's, slung low to the ground. It looks like a sleek, oversized motorbike/animal hybrid.

Rising from the back of the 'body' and either side of the rear wheel are a pair of scorpion tails that shoot a powerful lazer each.

The great trick of the Scorpio is that it can rotate it's front and back wheels horizonatally and convert from bike to helicopter!

It's coloured in gold, tan and beige and is designed to counter the kid's new capabilities with their vehicles.

As for my Jim story - it starts like this;

At the end of one of our other episodes Odd is near to Jim when an RTTP goes off after a XANA attack, and Jim says;

"This is a bigger conspiracy than Project Carthage!"

Odd stares at Jim as the RTTP blasts through, wiping Jim's memories.

Cue my episode;

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
This all revolves around the kids trying to get a word or two out of Jim as to what he meant without raising his suspicions, until we get this chain of events;

JIM (loosing temper): Stop hounding me about this!
ODD: Why not
JIM (screaming): BECAUSE IT'S CLASSIFIED! You want answers, ask your father!
ODD (stunned): My father!

The rest of the episode explores what else happeend twelve years ago, and just how could Odd's father be connected to Franz.

Right. But I'm gonna need some assistance. I'm kinda developing a writers' block. However, "DATING DILEMMA" is a Jeremie-Aelita focused episode. I already came up with a early version of the premise, if you've seen the Pee-wee's Playhouse episode, "The Cowboy and the Cowntess".

You could use this episode to kick off a few 'LOST' style episodes in which the characters re-eveluate their lives because of what happened to Odd.

D'you think the kids could get away with moving Odd's body to the factory and loading it into a deactivated scanner - that way once they recover his data they can recombine it with his body and then RTTP to prevent the adults asking as to why they kidnapped a comatose teenager.

Basically yes. Though it'd take most of Ep 2 to get to that point.

The chances are we can't show a body on screen, so at the beginning of the ep Odd should resussitate and then the kids kidnap him (I'd love for Jim to be part of the team by this point because I can see him driving crazily around town with a comatose Odd in the backseat and the police chasing him!)

You mean go from dead to comatose? Yeah, top of ep 2.

Perhaps, or he could suddenly feel flashes of memories like what happens to Sissi in "The Children of the Night".

What would trigger the flashes, though?

Uh... Are you Mad? That's not CL, that's bad soap opera.

Bad soap opera? Possibly. In fact more than likely. However I'd been working on the idea of Jim being involved with Carthage for a long time and would like to homage it in some way (as well as see all the ideas I'd worked on go to waste) - in this case he's referring to the investigation at Kadic that must have occured around June 1994 - as a former collegue Odd's father took Jim into his confidence.
