Dude, but when they return from Lyoko after being defeated, they don't come back bleeding from the parts where they have been shot.

When they get shot by a laser on the real world, they dont bleed there either.

That was something weird at <i>False Start</i>. Ulrich got shot in his arm and it did torn a piece of his clothes, but no blood. I'm guessing that if they show some bleeding on Code Lyoko (come on, the bleeding should had happened), the ratings could probably raise because of certain violence level and byebye 7-year old show, welcome aboard PG or PG-13 show. I'd be so happy if ratings raise. :D And some people here watch rated R stuff before reaching the age of 18, so big deal if CL raises their ratings. Or maybe I'm wrong.

you can't feel physical pain, smell, taste or physiological functions, so Odd can bend or move slightly his body to run even faster.

And yes, I highly think that, since Jeremie programmed his combat gear with "cat-like" instincts, his hip is proably modified to take that kind of task, and that his legs are proable shorter, the same length as his arms and his tail used for balance.
*whew*

Dude, that was me saying <i>you can't feel physical pain, smell, taste or physiological functions, so Odd can bend or move slightly his body to run even faster.</i> I'd be glad if you quoted me. And nice pics, btw.

And to some of you, especially those who make one-line posts: <b>please quote the words that you agree with or what are you laughing at.</b> That would be much appreciated to see, and it looks less spammy. :) And please, obey the rules, as Mewberrries151 pointed at page 2 of this thread. Mew, you're doing a great job in few days... seriously girl, you rock. And Erynn made the right choice of selecting you as a Mod.

All you do is copy it and paste it into the address bar.

XD Well, you can do that if you want to be a nosy parker about it. (j/k) ;)

Honestly, small text is used to either connote a statement that would like to attain some sort of privacy to it (since you can't just see it directly, it has to be quoted or copied), or to show that the poster is using a "small voice". It's also useful for posting off-topic comments about something on a particular thread.

And thanks for the back-up (and compliments) Rodri! ^_^

I find out that it dosn't work.
*Bruised head, seriously*

I was bored and I mean BORED one day at home and I decided to re-watch CL episodes that I burned into a DVD(eps from Lotho!) and there, I see Odd running dog/cat style in Sector 5.
I wonder: "Gee, he can really run faster when he does that."
So I try it on my upstairs hallway.
I was going fast for about 2 strides, before loosing balance, and ramming my head agains't the side wall.
.
.
.
After I recover, I noticed in the clip that Odd's back is not as high as I was, and I see that it was impossible to have your arms cross behind your legs when doing it.

That hip structure idea is very plausible. But I prefer him running like a human much better than him running like a neko (cat in Japanese).

I proclaimed myself as the Code Lyoko Screencaps Master!

Also, to be on topic, I asked my little cousin to run like Odd, and guess what?

IT WORKS!

Guess you got to be lighter and little.
It's so cool! Looks just like Odd.

Already told you that. With a compacted body it's easier to move your joints in the sockets.

I can't do it anymore because my legs are too long now, but I'm getting stronger!

You're welcome. Warton, you have murdered the fun of small text posts.

On topic: Is anybody gonna shoot themselves in a video trying to run like Odd?

....Okay, I'm not trying to be a party-pooper or anything, but why exactly does this thread have three pages? :umm:

I don't think I've ever tried to run like that.. well, not seriously. I used to be able to "gallop" really good tho! (Like you know, like skipping sideways?)

Ha... I'm such a loser :P

Dude, you dance like a freakin' lemur? Is that what you said?

And it's got 3+ pages because everyone's wondering it.

Well, I also run like that. And I had to have physical therapy for it.

it's a style of running in which your legs stretch out beneath you, and you have to either keep the same speed, go faster, or be able to brace yourself or pull back to balance. They teach you it in ice skating.
