Arigato gozaimasu! I'm sorry I don't know how to write that in hiragana. I wish I could read the text at the bottom of your letters, but like Ulrich, tho' I am a big nipponophile, I can't read or write in Japanese. "Gomenasai"

I think that's how she got the Ulrich role.
kiwi wrote:Actually, to get the part of Ulrich, I auditioned! Just like we all did. I originally went out for the part of Jeremy! And I had a cold and my voice was really scratchy and that's what they ended up liking for Ulrich. I'm really happy to be playing him. It's the first time in my life I've ever gotten to be super cool.

Actually, not even being 8 1/2 months pregnant kept me from going to work so...

Wow, that's a long time to go without a brake. I hope you get some time to yourself.
Hmmm... My question for today would have to be this. A lot of people compair Code Lyoko to the Matrix. What is your take on this?
Ulrich Stern. wrote::D Yay, I'm glad I'm the first to ask you that. Who is William Gibson? What are his books called?
Now, what would you say to those who consider Code Lyoko to be anime? My friends don't watch the show for a reason I don't know why (it's the coolest to me), and every time I talk about it in front of them they ask if I'm talking about "that French anime show" again.
Your De-Virtualization wrote:I don't want to answer your question for her, but technically it -IS- a French anime. Anime meaning animation. If you mean anime as in the traditional Japanese anime that most of us think about, then it is not anime. But saying the phrase "French anime" with that meaning is kind of an oxymoron...
Ulrich Stern. wrote:It may be a little of both. I believe they once said they think Japanese cartoonists who live in France make the show, but I could be wrong. I'll see if I can find those books, they look really cool.
