Hi newbie from Egypt

Postby Godaiger » Sat Jan 21, 2006 5:22 pm

Hi, there

I'm really new to the Lyoko fanbase, I've just seen the first episode of the arabic dub of the show and I liked it. I've also download the 2001 pilot "Garage Kids" good thing they decided to change the name to Code Lyoka for the show.

How did you find Lyoko Freak?: While checking in the Code Lyoko section at Wikipedia, the site has been among the links available on that page
Reason for username: I've been trying to create a superhero (in a japanese manner) who gets his powers from the elements and Godaiger comes from the name Godai which are the elements in Japanese philosiphy.

Bienvenue sur Lyoko Freak, Godaiger! :D

I see we have an Egyptian in our midst. Very nice. Now the superior awesomeness of LF is spreading throughout the globe!

*twitch*

*twitch*

....WORLD DOMINATION!!!!!! :evillaugh:

Ahem. Sorry about that. Oh, silly me. I forgot to give you your n00b cookies. *holds out tray of n00b cookies, not to be confused with newbie cookies, which are filled with cockroaches and Odd's hairgel*

Anyway, it's alright if you're new to Code Lyoko. I'm sure you will either a) Fall in love with it and obsessively watch every episode like all of us did b) Find out things about it through the net or c) Get into BKO, be scarred for life, and want to get as far away as possible from anything having to do with Lyoko. :)

I didn't know they had an Arabic dub. That's interesting.

A non-mod who is older than me. Another thing to add to the checklist. Welcome, and have fun all over the forum.

Wow, Egypt? That's impressive. I believe you're the first member here to be from anywhere besides North/South America and Europe. Congrats, I guess. ;P

Anyway, welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy yourself. :)

Peru, Jamaica, Alaska, America, Prris, Britain and now Egypt - welcome fellow Freak ;) - I hope you have a good time here.

And I honestly never knew CL had an ARABIAN dub! Proof that this show is good if it airs in so many countries.

Lol, okay. It was just amusing because you were naming countries, and then Alaska popped up and I was like, "Buh?" :P

How about trying to name all the countries where CL has aired - that would be a challenge!

The 11 different ways I know to say "hello":

Konnichiwa! (Japanese more formal-ish...)
Moshi Moshi! (Japanese way to answer telephone)
Ni hao! (Mandarin)
Nay ho ma? (Cantonese formal)
Wei/Wai (Cantonese/Mandarin telephone way)
Bienvenidos! (Spanish)
Hola! (Spanish)
I am on erranty and I greet you ~Young Wizards Series
Fairest and Fallen, Greeting and Difiance (sp?) ~Wizards greeting to the "Lone Power" (Young Wizards as well...)
Dai stiho! (again...Young Wizards)
And of course....Hello!
Habataku mono wo mukaeru sora/Shihaisareru no wo osoreyashinai/Akogareru mabayusa wa/Subete wo kaeru tame ni/Dare mo yurusazu ni/Doko he yukeru darou?

The sky greets those who fly,I don't fear of being controlled/The dazzling brightness that I aspire for is to change everything/I cannot forgive anyone, where can I go?

I've heard it has a chinese dub before.

Add Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Germany, Britain (entire)... and we used to had Puerto Rico before.

I have an Arabian channel for cable service. I can't remember its name, but it's showing the African soccer tournament held at Egypt.
