I'm still a bit new to code lyoko but one thing that I see alot of is the abuse the gang puts sissy thur. Does anyone feel bad about this. I do think its funny and she has it coming but still they are kinda hard on her.

I think she should not be abused. She wishes to be loved and accepted by them.

Though they are hard on her, I still think she deserves it, because in one episode, Sissi actually tricked Ulrich by giving him a letter that was said to be from Yumi, and then when he figured it out, she and her gang laughed at him(well, I'm not really surprised about Nick and Herb). So I think she deserves it.

During Season 1, she deserved almost everything she got. She was rude, arrogant, deceitful, and not a very nice person to hang around.

But during Season 2, she has actually improved her personality quite a bit. Sure the start of Season 1 was kinda rocky start what with the introduction of Aelita as a new boarding student, but as time went on, they're actually becoming fairly civil to each other. Sissi did hear out the gang and gave them the opportunity to prove themselves when she heard about Lyoko in Ultimatum, unlike Taelia who blabbed to the police and William who wouldn't even give them the chance. There was Missing Link where she purposely took the fall for Yumi without any favors. She even dished out dirt to Ulrich about William in Vertigo and gave romance advice to Aelita, again in Vertigo (even though she basically insulted Jeremie).

And I think the gang is starting to pick up on that. They're not insulting her quite as often, even defending her when she slips back into her normal insulting self. Odd did get to see Sissi in a new light in Deja Vu, and Ulrich willingly went along with Sissi's crazy seance when normally in Season 1 he would just tell her to bug off.

Give it time, and Sissi's gang might be friends with the Lyoko gang. She certainly has made it very far.

Kudos once again to animeologist who manages to say everything that I am thinking when reading these posts. I can't really follow that up, but I do agree that in the future, we can see the possible mergence of the two groups.

Maybe, but I'm not so sure that Nick and Herb would want to join, seeing how they hate the Lyoko gang.

Not to mention he hates Ulrich for being Sissi's main affection. But they're Sissi's henchman and they'll follow her to the ends of the Earth. They did allow Ulrich into their group during their seance and that amnesia thing as well as Nicholas joining the group's band in Seeing is Believing.

Very well said, animenologist! :)

It would seem to me that she was probably originally intended to be rather two-dimentional and just another obstacle in the gang's path throughout the episodes. An all-purpose antagonist and nothing more, if you will. But as soon as the writers realized that characters like that make the show itself seem somewhat shallow it would make sense that they would try to change her a bit for season two. I don't think that that change is going to stop or fade away, either; my money's on the idea that soon she'll be a a very big deal and a positive character on the show.

I think that if Sissi became part of the Lyoko gang, she'd probably leave Herb and Nicholas out, even if that didn't happen right at the start. Eventually she'd realize that they aren't very good friends and that they probably won't ever be very close, unlike how the bond between the Lyoko gang members are. And I think in realizing that, she'll stop feeling so lonely and angry and in turn no longer need them as her wenches (basically).

*snickers* I like Nick and Herb being referred to as Sissi's wenches. That amuses me for some reason.

Teehee. Wenches.

I can actually see that happening, though, Erynn. I bet Herb'd go berserk though >.> (It kinda seems to me that Nick doesn't really care.. lol when I first started watching the show I thought he was a stoner who liked to wear short shorts xD)

Ditto! Based on that and his laugh Jim might want to search his Poliakoff Shorts (TM) for illegal substances - not when Nick's in them of course.

As for Sissi - she's one of my fav characters and enjoy watching her grow as a person - fingers crossed she'll get to really prove her worth in S3.

Especially in Lyoko if she happens to become a Lyoko Guardian.

I really, really hated Sissi at first. But of course, come Ultimatum, I was all like OMGSISSIYAY! If she ever does join the Lyoko team, then she'd better get some cool weapon of sorts. 'Specially if she was an archer chick, THEN she'd be pretty awesome.

Yay! :D (I made that 2nd sig last year, when I thought the show was set in the not-too-distant-future, although it still is-- I suppose they'd be entering Summer 2006 right now?)

Actually, I'd imagined Sissi would look sort of like this in Lyoko.. But with a pink outfit and a yellow ribbon in her hair.

And Herb would be like... killing... things.... xD

Herb would probably kill things by stabbing them with his pen-set, either that or squeezing his zits and forcing them to drink his TOXIC PUS OF DOOM!
