anyone else having trouble connecting? I cant get it to work on simplemu or telnet.

Server is once again up. If you can't connect using the standard address, try using '64.252.175.173' until your DNS updates.

If you do get trapped in the factory(it has happened to me too), why aren't there any exits to go back to Kadic?

none have been coded in for whatever reason. pretty good trap though since even reconnecting doesnt get you out. you have to get an admin like warton to get you out.

You could just type "home"

Right! Update time!

The only feature character left needing a player is Ulrich... let me know if you want to use him as your main character!
I'm adding descriptions for the rooms we have now, and then I'm going to start work on the next set of rooms, probably the factory/sewers.
The game got a speed upgrade, it may or may not be noticable to the casual observer.
