I was watching Pink Panther today with my Grandma and my lttle sister. 45 minutes into the movie my grandma gets a call. she goes outside and talks. she then comes back in frantic saying that my grandfather is on his way to the hospitial. he could'nt breathe. he [is a realstate agent] was at a client/ friends house. so we packed up and grabbed our money & went to the _ _ _ hospitial. (information is private.) when we get there, we learn he was transported to _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. my dad calls worried. everyone shows up at the hospitaial about the same time. they tell us nothing. after 4 hours we found out a he had a bad bad stroke. soon after we left. then we learn he has a bad lung and his heart is bad. he went into surgery. he just got out okay. but is still in ICU. im sooo worried about him. i do not know what to do. my entire family is worried. i ust neede to tell somebody.

Oh, *hugs* too you deserve a lot of them. I really hope your grandfather feels better. When my dad was in the hospital when he had cancer (he’s better now) I felt awful and alone. If you ever want to talk to some one PM, IM, of email me. I’m always there to talk. :patpat:

My mother taught me a prayer when I was young for situations like this. I never could tell if it helped or not, but it always made me feel better.......... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! OF ALL THE TIMES TO FORGET IT! But I'm serious, its there, and as soon as I remember it, something's going to happen. But your grandfather is in my prayers.

I know just how you feel.

I first would like to recognize that my dog had a heat stroke a few years ago. We believed he was going to die, but he survived with a miracle. I know a dog is far different than a human, but you must understand that he was my only friend at the time.

Now then, I also had an aunt that was recorded to have skin cancer. She was a faithful member of the family. She was unable to do most things in life. For example: she had a physical condition, disabling her for riding a bike and other things that you need to grasp your hands with. She hadn't any teeth, so I needn't say she had to have food grinded for her, and way more. Though she had so things pulling her down, she was very couragous and had (as my father says it) a unique way of looking at life. We thought the cancer had finally gone away for a long while, but I believe I was about ten or eleven when the blasted cancer came up again and before you know it, I'm at a funeral home in a James Bond tuxito. I was constantly reminded, "Life goes on..." but what made it the most sad is that I never understood my aunt until she died. I didn't understand her problems or anything like that. Once you do, you feel like you kind of neglected her, you know what I mean. Okay, before somebody puts my story in their memior, I best stop and get to the main point.

See, though I don't think giving you the information of my the passing away of my aunt is going to make you feel any better, the message I am trying to convey is that there are people on this board that understand what you're going through. If you want, I welcome any PM's if you need something to talk about.

With all this stated, I hope for the best in your situation.

i haven't been on LF in ages. so thank you for all the kind posts. *group hug* heres an update:
He's better. he's been home for about a month. he has been doing nothing but bugging people. like he'd stare at my grandma working (she works from home) and then bug her every 5 seconds. he threw away my manga book. (i wasn't too happy, cuz when i found out the trashman had already taken it away). he went back to work since he hated staying home. but now he calls every five minutes. he is normal and healthy again. (he did all this before his attacks.) he is back to our grumpy grandpa. i wouldn't have him any other way.

Good to know it worked for the best, 101. Now since your problem is solved, I'll lock this thread to avoid spam.
