Ideas for continuation of CL past season 4

So im pretty sure everyone here knows that CL is probably going to end after season 4 despite what some of us are hoping for. Season 3 is pretty much going to be the supposed "pre-season 1" and season 4 is going to be the final XANA battle. So this thread is here to post ideas that may allow the series to continue past season 4.

So heres what hit me:


1) follow what Digimon did and have future generations follow in the kid's footsteps. how XANA is reactivated and what prevents them from shutting down the super computer outright is still up in the air.

2) merely a few years down the road while the kids are still in school, the factory is being prepped for demolition. a construction worker who is meant to scour the factory for anything that my hinder the demolition finds the supercomputer and somehow screws up something to start another machine vs. humanity war.

To be incredibly honest, I don't really want CL to continue after its finishing point... I love originals and often times sequels aren't the greatest... xD;

But if it were to continue, I think it'd be amusing if the Lyoko gang made the decision to move the supercompy (...somehow) to another country or remote region while the old factory was being demolished, to preserve it yet keep it away from exposure and trouble. Then some little delinquents run into it one happy day and turn it on (like idiots), discover it, discover the RTTP function, abuse it... and everything goes downhill from there. And since the original gang aren't affected by the RTTP, they find out who's been messin' with their territory and they shut it off for them and are all like "NOOBS!!! >O"

Okay. Life story. Yay.

I'd think it'd be cool if they were under the assumption that they had defeated XANA only to find that he never died, but they dont find out until there're much older. So they all reunite to combat XANA when their in late high school or college. I think thats an intresting concept.

The only thing I would possibly want after the series ended is a movie where they take one last (unexpected) trip to Lyoko for reasons I can't/don't want to think of.

How'd you come to the conclusion Season 3 is pretty much going to be Pre-Season 1. I don't see why it'd be needed, and I thought it was already said to be a brige between Seasons 2 and 4 (or something along those lines). Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

I think it is supposed to be, but the movie (if it is made) would be pre season one. However, it is possible that some of season three will serve as a flashback of some kind to give the history that the movie would.

But to answer the question. I am not to big on the idea of continuing after season 4. like Lani said, sequels are usually not that good. a prequel series would probably be worse. I do however support the idea of a string of episodes that occurs after the defeat of Xana that is sort of a "where are they now?" sort of deal.

But if they do continue it, I have no idea what the would do.

well in the fourth series they might focus on freeing franz hooper so all the predictions made for the fourth series mght actually be the fifth

That is a very great idea, mooshie.

However, I think that Moonscoop WILL follow what is said it would do and have the 45 min. prequel, season 3 will get Franz Hopper out and season 4 will be trying to totallhy elimate XANA for good, <i><b><u>IF</U></I></B> and I'm stressing <b><i><u>IF</U></I></B> there is a season 5, I would follow Harajuku Guy's approach
