Okay, the first pic is Warrenton, VA, and the second is Toms Brook, VA. (Interestingly enough, there was a battle there.)

Shenandoah, hmm... Many things...Such as the Army Of The Shenandoah, and of course it is a valley near the Shenandoah River.

Meh, basically it had some stuff to do with the American Civil War. (They also made a movie titled Shenandoah)

Egh sorry for the spam, just explaining it to TB3, folks.

I was born in Beijing, China.
A Chinese dude, just like the other 20% of the world who are Chinese.

When I was two, I moved to Sendai, Japan. Then, after that, I moved to Hino, Japan, which is a suburb of Tokyo. When I was five, I moved to America. I won't tell you where, though, because that would reveal where I live and I can't give out personal information ;) .

Which means it's not San Francisco. If you tell us that you're Chinese and live in San Francisco it would still take longer than a lifetime for any of us to find out who you are...

Don't ever say any smack about Detroit. Like, ever. Because I WILL order an entire batallion of troops to storm your home and force-feed you peanut butter cookies. :cussout:

Yes, it did have the highest murder rates at one point.... but still it's not very nice to talk about where people are from like that. :wag: (Why in the heck do you think I moved?! lol)

It was nice being so close to Canada. I love them Mountees. xD; (They bring forth Degrassi and Maple Syrup! And plus everything's cheaper there!!)

Oh, DB! I see we have an Irishman! :D (I think I'm like a very small percentage Irish.. cuz some lady in my family was Irish.. or something. I'm also a small percent Native American. YAY INJUNS!! xD)

Your batallion of troops does not scare me. I am from Kingston, Jamaica. Our murder rate is at least as bad as Detroit's.

Isn't Detroit still the murder capital of the US?

It could be worse; you could have been from Flint (like Michael Moore was...)

Every city has it's good and bad sides. I'm not sure if Detroit still holds that title or not. Maybe, but I don't look into the murder rates of cities. All I know is that the murder rate in Columbus, Ohio is going up. Worrisome, but not a major problem to me.

You keep generalizing about cities, dude. You really shouldn't. Assuming anything about something is not a good idea. It leads to too many problems.

I guess it's a gruesome self-interest. I'm from Kingston, Jamaica, one of the most murderous cities in the world. Until my thirtieth birthday, I was fairly sure that I would have been shot dead before I was thirty.

Yeah, Flint might actually have improved since the release of the documentary movie Roger And Me. But it was *really* bad then...

And then there's Akron, the city that won an award from the EPA by going broke (all the tyre and rubber product factories closed down, which worked wonders on the people's resperatory systems but did nothing for their digestive tracts, food costing money and all...)

In 2001, Detroit was the murder capital.
In 2002, it was Washington D.C.
In 2003, title was given to Chicago.
In 2004, Baltimore.
In 2005, it was Philadelphia.
(Those are debateable.)
What will you remember me for?

I wish I could remember where it was I read that the most recent figures showed Detroit to have the highest murder rate. I remember that I read that in January 2006, though. Whether it was true or not is another matter...

Mhmm. Well, right now I'm living in nice safe suburban West Chester so I don't have to worry about murder rates. (Although Cincinnati is like really not that far from here... lol)

Well, I wasn't born there (but my one of my brothers was), but my family is orginally from the Philipines. My dad is from Manila and my mom is from Santiago. Now, me and my siblings were raised in Southern California. Me not going to say the city, but I live 10 minutes away from Hollywood. :D

SWEET!!!! Another flip!! I found this poem online about Filipino pride, man it is SO cool!!

Roses are red
FILIPINOS are brown
thats my race
so don't put it down!!

Ma FILIPINO pride
I will not hide
Ma FILIPINO race
I will not disgrace
Ma FILIPINO blood
flows hot & true
Ma FILIPINO peeps
I will stand by you
thru thick & thin
till the day we die
Our FILIPINO flag
Always stands high
I yell this poem
Louder than all the rest.
cuz every 1 knows
FILIPINO ARE THE BEST!!!

FILIPINO Pride in mah mind
FILIPINO blood is mah kind
So step aside and let me through
Cuz its all about tha FILIPINO crew
Life sucks and then u die
but if you FILIPINO
You die with pride!!!
