Bitmap fonts?

Bitmap fonts?

Ok, so I got a bitmap font. Fun.

After installing it, I deside to give it a test run, and opened PhotoFiltre and added a text.
I typed in 'Test!' and scrolled down the list of fonts, looking for 'Bitout 11'.

Can't find it.
Look again.
Still can't find it.
Check EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Still can't find it.

So I'm mad. I check to see if it's still in the 'Fonts' folder. Yup, it's there.

Why isn't it appearing in the pull down list? Grr...

UUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH Same thing happens to me all the time! It must be some sort of problem with bitmap fonts. :arg:

Is there like a converter? From bitmap to TrueType?

-_- you gotta wait a few hours for the Font to get setteled in. Wait for 2 hours after you install it.

Try Manully installing it:

Start ---> My Computer ---> Local Disk Drive ----> Windows ----> Fonts

Well, of course, if you've installed a font while the program is up, you have to restart it...Though I bet you've already done that..

Ok. so sue me for not reading the whole thread, but I have always had problems directly copying the font to the fonts folder. Instead, leave it somewhere like on your desktop, open the fonts folder and use the install fonts dialog to find and install the font.
