Gym troubles

Postby Insanity Hero » Sat Mar 18, 2006 7:12 pm

To make it clear I think we all hate gym right? No I'm not going rant about how gym class sucks and all that. What really ticks me off is that some lame brain half my size idiot's think they can talk trash right behind me. I may not be the best at football nor at kickball but come on! Just because I'm a little slower then them doesn't mean that they can yell out "Oh no we don't want that person!" *They don't even know my name which makes me feel ten times better.*

Right now things are at a stand still but after dancing we do some outside sports which involves baseball or bow and arrow. Every year I get the same sport which is baseball. So I'm not the star hitter that doesn't mean you can laugh at me when I miss the ball. And if you don't want me on your team then don't pick me last you jerks!
I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has been picked last for a game in gym but it just makes me feel like crap when I'm on a team that doesn't even like me nor do they care for my feelings and laugh at me when I mess up.

Gee I thought sports were suppose to be 'team work.' In this case that word is a bunch of crap to my ears.
So this is my rant for the day. I'm going to look up some Code Lyoko fan art/fan fics to make me feel better. Cheers to everyone here and to anyone that took the time to read this.

CHEERS TO ME!!
Gosh, I really feel sorry for you. <s>Maybe if you were a little better...</s> Actually, I think you should tell a teacher about your problems. If your teachers have an OUNCE of sense, they'll tell those kids to be nicer.
thank you all for the good memories <3

Bleh, I hate gym.
In our school, its not a GCSE, or anything. So I'm not gonna get anythin' out of it.
I just don't bring my kit, nothin' that ogre that calls himself a 'teacher' can do about it.
When he asks me why I didn't bring my kit, I reply
" Oh, sorry, about that.. " Or I write myself a note from my mum. ( Obviously not REALLY by mum, but y'get what I'm sayin')
Gym isn't important, at all.

Those people are just plain mean. Do you have a friend in that class? If not, try to make one that way you can stick together. I not to bad at PE… I just have a huge phobia of U.F.F. (Unidentified Flying Frisbees). I hope things get better. Oh yes, maybe you ask you teacher to make the teams beforehand that way you don’t have to get picked last.

I happen to love gym class, but I'm in love with the buzz I get adrenaline sooo yeah.

Actually the trick is to just play with your heart in it. I've never been particularly good in anything we do in gym but because I'm always trying ym absolute hardest it shows and I get respect from people that way. If you don't try or just don't really seem like you care with whatever is going on your gonna get picked last because then your viewed as someone who won't even pull off the occasional win.

Of course, I pratically break my neck every class with the crazy sh*t I do so prehaps your better off.

Yes...tell a teacher, it sounds like to me, you already are trying your hardest, so you should not be made fun of...(whether you are or not really)

I'll probably be the first to say this, but... I like gym. I'm athletic, I enjoy it, and I don't mind being forced to run around the track a couple times. :P

Still, I can sympathize with you... When I was younger I HATED gym, and whenever we played games people would be mad at me for messing things up. :P

The bottom line about people who say bad things about you behind your back, however, is that there's nothing you can do about it so you have to learn to let it roll off your back. That's what my mom always told me-- you have to let it roll off your back like the water on a duck.

(Also keep in mind that those people are extremely insecure, and the way they feel good about themselves is by saying mean things about others.)
Don't bother sending me messages or anything, I'm not in charge of the site anymore.

But I do love dancing.

I think you just gotta find your own sport, the one thing youre sorta good at and enjoy...
like how I never did any sport, at all! barely even went for a run... so I took up squash... which was ok, I got good at it.. but it was when I took up climbing that I found something I was actually naturally good at, with out trying and its an inmense joy to find that. so... my humble advice is look around and find your sport.

I like gym to although I know what it's like to not be the best at any sport. I suck at sports one way or another. All I can say is do your best. It doesn't matter what others think cuz that's not what the world revolves around. I know it's hard to ignor them but just do your best.

Gym. Sucks.

Mostly because the sports gods hate me so they made me suck at everything and I have less than natural hand-eye coordination and/or flexibility... yeah.

But it's okay when you have other people to hang around with who equally suck. lol It would just rawk if we had Nyamo as our gym teacher xD;

And yeah, those people are mean... :poke:

I loved my gym class and I wish I could take it again (then again, not really because I'd be stuck with some very annoying Freshman...no offense if there are any freshman here...)

But enough about me. The only advice I can give you has already been said, but I'll say it again. Try not to let it bother you too much. Think of it this way, these kids have nothing better to do than to bother you...they must be envious of something you have that they don't.

Ignoring them is usually the best thing to do. And try talking to your teacher. If he\she doesn't do anything, maybe go talk to an administrator or someone and see if they can help out.

Good luck and I hope for the best!

As of now I am actually a fan of gym mostly because its a chance to flirt w/ a good number of girls in my class. ;) But believe me i've had that period where gym sucked so all I can say is just give it your all and accept that you know that you tried and thats all that matters.

well besides play with your heart, don't worry about it, etc... I have but one piece of advice and that is, learn my type of meditation, this being think nothing, put your body through the class, but leave your mind elsewhere. It really helps, I can hardly even remember my P.E. classes.
A lot of member have sigs that say"I'm a boy", or "I'm a girl", I refuse to join this trend.

Hey ppl,
It's not a bad thng to suck at gym but alot of good things and bad things can come from it. I mean look at my gym class for example. I'm not bad at gym but i'm not good eather. but the better thing is that if i mess up and other people make fun of me for it. I just get to make fun of them(We have to take showers in gym class so i just make fun of them and tell the girlfriends of the guys that made fun of me in gym class how small their equipment really is -lol-). I mean it's gross thinking about looking at that spicific area on guys when you are one but it's sweet payback!!! :D
