I do somedays because I don't have any friends in my second lunch block. That, and it takes care of some things and leaves more time for more other things later in the day when I'm home.

I would go on at school if they would let me. If you go on something that's not school related in Library. They'll post your name on the door and say you can't come in for a week. So, it's kind of strict at my school.


I once tried to convice the person who was in charge that I was doing something on AVID(If you don't know what AVID is. It's a class the prepares you for college, helps you find scholarships, etc) where we had to write a paper on the ideal career. I tried to convine her that I was writing/looking up on making a virtual world, in an old abandoned factory, that an artifical intelligence would run. I'd make scanners so that I could go to the virtual reality world in case the government ever came after me. But then the artifical intelligence would get out of hand and trapped me in the virtual reality world. Then, the artifical intelligence would try world domination.

Yeah, I got kicked out for the day. But they think I'm crazy now.

It's a waste of time for me since my school has a computer program called "Bess." Mainly what it does is block out websites that aren't school related. I rarely use those computers now since it's a pain to work with.

Also my school has the 2000 version of Mac. Heaven save me! It would be ok to work with if you didn't have 100+ students on the same internet connection. My school is cheap.....

I'm another one of those 'teacher's pet, always finishing first' types since I'm the fastest typer in my class. (and nobody paid any heed to the Typing Tutor thing. le sighs.) So I have the opportunity to go onto the interweb when I finish things.

I actually haven't tried coming here at school yet. I only have IT on Fridays and usually that's the day I'm sick, we're off or doing another activity.

But this Friday we'll be interneting during class! Schmeeness!

Doesn't stop me. I get on good with the school librarian as I always give up my computer for those who need it for work, I have friendly chats with her and I get the newspaper from the school office for her. Because of this, she doesn't ask questions.

Same goes to a free lesson where the substitute teachers take us to a computer room. Offensive sites are blocked and it is reported to school main computer hub. Offend often and you’re internet access passowrd is revoked

Yes, same deal here, Teacher's Pet, finish work early, get laptop, play with friends. My friends always ask questions or comment on you guys. Mads-Plads(Madison) will often point at someone's avatar and ask, "Who's that?" Lainen(Elaine) will look at someone's username then try to pronounce it(always failing horribly), then says "Sounds yucky. I don't get Coddle-Coddle(CL) or whatever anyways." And she's not trying to be offensive, she just doesn't get things. She's not introduced to the modern world - seriously, she has no TV and a family computer that works extremely slowly and no one ever uses.

Speaking of that, she once saw TB3's avatar and said "LEMON!" then attempted to lick the screen. >_O

Anyways, Dr.Hobo(Ryan) will look at someone, then say "Haha.(jokingly)" or "I bet he/she has a sad life," but he jumps at the chance to insult people, so that's not a surprise. Lolinator(Haley D) will ask who I'm chatting to, because she thinks a forum and an IM are the same things.

...Everyone else usually doesn't say anything. O.O;

My school's computer rules suck. The one upside is that only three non-student people in the entire campus really know how to use computers- one of them happens to be my mom. Most of the rest of them struggle to save a file. Of course, most of the student body could roll their eyes at the way the old people struggle. But that's just us.

So, obviously, I can't get on during school.

Lol... I was the second person in my entire school to finish Type to Learn. Eventually, I started typing so fast that it didn't let me pass unless I typed at least 35 words per minute (which was pretty close to overkill for me back then). I hate it when they do that step by step as if we don't know anything about computers. I know as a fact that I'm the best at webcoding in my entire school; nobody else knows PHP.
