Bad Situaion... D:

Postby KayLenny#7 » Sat Apr 08, 2006 10:15 am

Hokay. So my mom, my dad, and my mom's boyfriend don't make enough money to pay bills.
Living in Kansas is too expensive. So my mom gives me a choice.

Pros are in pink, cons are in red.

Choice 1: Ditch the boyfriend now and move to Nebraska in the summer (because we can't aford Kansas without him). I'll have my cousin and my rich grandparents (who has a mansion and buys me stuff a lot) there, but there is also the strong possibility of living in a trailer. And my cousin's dad is smart and might be able to help me with school for free. And possibly eliminate some relationship problems with my mom that comes from that jerk of a guy. Oh, and never see some people that I really care about ever again!

EDIT: And lose the thousands of dollars my mom put into remodling this house and my dream room!

Choice 2: Keep the boyfriend around. Stay in Kansas (which I've been here for most of my life). Continue to try and build friendships with aquaintances. Be close to a special someone who I've known for years (very special to me). Possibility of getting hurt because my mom can only control her psycho boyfriend up to a point. He'd eventually be kicked to the curb and if that happens, we're could (not for sure) end up on the streets (literally). And might continue failing school.

I'd choose choice one. It seems like the better option to me; the pros outweigh the cons. If you want keep in touch with people though, you could e-mail them or write to them, and call them every now and then.

Choice 1.

Moving is SO hard, but you'll get through it as long as you can keep in touch with your friends, and you can always make new ones.

The person being your boyfriend?

You'll find another. And you'll be glad you found him. I already went through that like... 5 months ago.

I think you'd be better off with choice 1. You can always call, email, and possibly visit your special person...

Just keep in mind that it's your decision and what we say here doesn't determine your choice. ;)
I hear voices...and they don't like you.

There are very few people in this world who truely scare me...and you're one of them.

Next time you have a thought, let it go.

Choice 1 definitely. A new start can lead to wonderful things. Being close to relatives will ease the transition. And a trailer is not so bad. You'll be able to move out if you want in a couple of years anyway. And a road trip back to see friends is certainly feasible.

Choice number 1. Who knows? You may have a better life in Nebraska, or it could be really bad, but choice 1 seems better because it sounds like you'll be happy there. But I'm not sure what to do about that person you're talking about...

Choice 1, as long as it doesn't hurt you that much.

Money is always useful... you'll see eventually.

Hey, another North Carolinian

now that that is over, living in a trailer isn't that bad, I lived in a trailer up until I was 12/11and moved where we currently are (which was not far away, and we still go to the same school, so I can't help you there)

Choice 1: 3 pros and 3 cons (if you take off living in a trailer 4 pros and 2 cons)

Choice 2: 2 cons and 1 pro

Choice one seems better, and there is E-mail, so you can stay in touch

I hope you guys aren't just counting the pros and cons. It's the level of it that matters. That person is not my boyfriend, but someone who is very important to me. Someone that shows me more respect than anyone ever. It's him that keeps me going when I feel like crawling into a corner to die.

hey numbuh 7...nebraska isnt that bad...ive been through it before...You may actually like it there, better than Kansas, which I have been through before also...between the two, nebraska is way better..You can keep in touch with friends and stuff through messenger and email, so that will be ok...being close to family is always a good thing...here is one thing you have yet to learn in life...friends will come and go, no matter what.

Living in a trailer isnt that bad...I grew up living in a doublewide with 4 other people..it wasnt bad at all. It will take some getting used to..but it definitely isnt that bad.

I guess I didn't mention:
• I was born in Nebraska and go there in the summer. I don't like it as much as Kansas.
• I've lived in trailers before. The most miserable years of my life (excluding the moking from peers).
• I don't have a way of contacting this person that I'm talking about. No e-mail or anything like that. And I don't think he's aloud to talk to girls on the phone... -_-
• I'm not worried about leaving behind a boyfriend because I've never had one, but there are is lots of potential to get one if I stay because people have been more social with me here than they ever were on my visits to Nebraska.

well..im glad you mentioned that because it changes things quite a bit in my mind...I guess it really is up to you what you would rather do..if you have the chance to at least have a place to stay in nebraska, despite it being a trailer, then I would go for it. If you need any other advice, pm me.

Well, your mom shouldn't be relying on a human for everything. You guys can still live in Kansas, and your mom can dump her boyfriend. Because, God will take care of you and you need to have faith.

rofl

She lives in USA, a country that means survival goes by money. And USA's religion is the dollar, in these cases.
