A copied life....

It all started in 3rd grade....When I was friends with this girl...she and I had intrests in Hamtaro. Then for a month we shared those intrests. Then a new game came out, Starfox. And I shared Starfox facts and other games with a Big fan in my class. I had seven best friends. While my old friend was trying to make friends, but everybody hated Hamtaro, she was an outcast. Then came the fateful day of nametag day (hey this was 3rd grade). We had to make Snowmen. She copied it to impress my best friend. It didn’t work, eventually my best friend stood up to her and told her to stop copying.

Now here comes 4th Grade.....
More copying. Then my best friend and I started a club. So did the girl. Art class, I drew a wolf, so she did. Lizards, same.

5Th Grade
We asked her many times to stop. So she says,â€

Well in this case there is really nothing you can do. Take pity on the poor girl though, she has no friends. Unless she like... ya know realyl decides to copy your life (like dress like you and be all Mickie James like) just tolerate it.

That being said I find your taste in music horrendous Go get your hands on some Monster Magnet!!!

Perhaps she just chose to be like you. There's a small difference between that and copying. Did you try tricking her to confirm it was acually copying?

Ah the painful er... I mean wonderful memories of 5th grade. It's hard to say "Cheer up it will get better." What this girl needs is to find where she fits. And right now she's on the road to 'poser' Your doing the right thing telling her nicely to stop but if she continues to copy you then there is no hope for her. And the rumors?
It's easy for me to type this but laugh it off. You have great friends standing by your side helping you out. This girl just needs a reality check. Copying people will not get you far in life. Keep your head above the water and just remember that you are your own person.

She’s freaky and trying to take over my life. Well, not my life. She just takes credit for my art after I make something, she copies it.

Yeah BB of C I have tried tricking her, by numerously saying what I like....I hate. Not going into details. But, yeah she copies.

Insanity Hero, I’m not so depressed after 4th Grade. But the school bully offered to beat her up. I told him no. But, he went over and told her not to copy. She cried. She’s acting all innocent. But I know she can’t really take over my life. *Yawn* She’s a wannabe.

I have an 'ex-friend' who keeps copying me as well. I remember for our Spanish homework we had to draw our family, I did a certain style of eyes. She saw and came back the next day with a picture almost identical to mine. >_> And once I was talking to another friend, I was saying 'huh? huh? huh?' and she's made it her bloody catchphrase. Arggharggh. Another example is when we're talking about a comedy show on the night before, no matter WHAT it was (heck, even if it was Napolean Dynamite) she would always say 'Yeah, I saw that!'. When you asked her what happened she'd always say '...I forget.'

My best bet would be to find new tastes rather than change them, but keep them to yourself. If you see she's copying what you're doing in art class or something relevant, pretend to change your mind. Works every time for me, maybe because my problem's an idiot. xP

I think there is nothing to do right now. She probably just hasn't matured mentally at the rate as everybody else and for it she gets picked on. Getting picked on, she resorted to finding the more popular people and being as much like them as possible. Which, of course, isn't helping the situation. If she's smart at all, in a couple of years she'll realize what's going on and fix it herself. But I suggest sticking around with her and being patient until then. This is because when she realizes it, she is really going to need a friend.
