And esspecially that last one.
I'm really trying to hold it in right now, your jumping up and down on my very last nerve!
Cassius335 wrote:Sith, as far as XANA goes, I still haven't entirely forgiven him for the whole "Moonscoop stole my ideas" thread. You have to admit, AX does overthink his ideas a bit.
As for me being isulting and agressive? I was trying for wry, occasionally a bit scared of what I read... and I haven't forgotten CL Genesis either.
What GivR just posted, that is being insulting and agressive. There is a difference.

But, as a new day begins, I've gotten over it!
Just as that CL Genesis thing is LONG over, this discussion is over as well. You can't help when somebody is acting moronic, that is completley and uttlerly stupid, senseless, and pointless. But, maybe you were just brought up that way. In any case, you are still merely a child...you will learn soon enough...
And for those who haven't found out, GivR IS CL Genesis...just changed the name.![]()
LAUGH AT THAT!

Franz Hopper said that he created Project Carthage to distrupt enemy communications. What exactly does this mean? He wanted to create a world without danger, was this his goal in life?

I think the rearranging is partially a security feature, though it appears (mostly) ineffective.
It seems to have another use, however. As we've seen, Carthage appears to contain all of the data of Lyoko- the other sectors apparantly contain most of the processing capability (towers), and are also meant to be inhabitable.
I'm guessing that Carthage contains many rooms, with different ones containing different data fragments; however, Carthage doesn't seem large enough to contain all the rooms that we see in it, let alone possibly thousands of other rooms.
Therefore, I'm guessing that Carthage uses a relative coordinate system- one has a location within a given room, but no location within the sector as a whole. Rooms can be linked to each other in any way desired.
In other words:a door in a room of Carthage could be linked to a door in any other room, regardless of "where" that room is in Carthage.
the connections between rooms can and often change their layout, for at least two reasons:a sector needs to access a fragment of data, in which case the room with the data is connected to the room adjacent to the data stream.
The room containing the Heart of Lyoko is always linked to the port at the bottom, since that data is always needed.
a command is given to connect a certain room to another. XANA did this in that episode where he stole Ulrich's body. The "mechanism" apparently issues a command to link the given room to the elevator, which is linked to the Celestial Sphere. Jeremy can't issue such a command directly, but in "The Key" he was able to enter alternate coordinates for the mechanism to link to (the room with Aelita's (fake) memory)
I like Rob's diagram of the solenoid, though I think the rack-and-pinion is a little redundant- just attatch the lever to the solenoid. Either way, it should work nicely.
