Will you quit calling him names, he is not a monster he is a human being same as you are.... You have a right to your opinion....But is this really nessecary calling him names? And going on like this? You shouldn't take it so seriously girl... And he has a right to it same as any other candidate... We don't know what he will do with his power... All those adds are mostly mud slinging.... You don't know him as a person... Nor do I but I say we give him a chance... Same as we did Bush, and Clinton and so on... Relax and stop the mud slinging will you... It is not very respectful... Anyway I am intrested in seeing what he will do...

Taelia?

I'd like you to do me a favor, and THINK before you post your words!

The only real purpose that your words will accomplish here is to utterly PO everybody who voted for Obama. There is no real reason to do this, so why do you insist on doing it over, and over, and over again? I mean, seriously! YOu are bullheaded, and will interject your opinions in despite all evidence to the contrary, and in means that are sufficiently lacking in a certain skill known as TACT.

You accused our President-Elect of being a Monster, and that the American people fraudulently voted for him. You also say that he will be America's Downfall.

1) It was not fraudulent. It was entirely legal, and I participated in it. So don't say things you have no proof of.
2) You call him a monster. Let's go back to the whole "Tact," thing, shall we? I grant that you may not like him. I grant that you may be displeased with his policies. But to call him a monster on a public forum... there's only one real purpose for doing that, and that's inciting the wraith of many people sheerly for the sake of being spiteful and bitter. When Kerry lost four years ago, did I go around saying that Bush was a monster? No. I did not. I was disappointed, yes, but think before saying inflamitory remarks.
3) You say he will be America's downfall. If you wish to make blanket statements such as this, explain WHY you feel this way, otherwise you're just screaming for no reason.

Take what I said to heart, Ms. Taelia. I do not wish to see our fair forum scorched in a flame war.

It's good to see you haven't committed suicide, Taelia.

<S>I was worried I would have to go to another forum to get my weekly fix of BS.</S>

And congratulations to Barrack Obama. Yet another event in American history I can say I've witnessed.

People like that are full of bigotry and hate. Bigotry and hate are a LOT more dangerous than pornography on television (which SHOULD be legalized... this country's full of ****ing prudes). Pornography never caused a Holocaust.

Oh goody, now we're invoking Godwin's Law.

The problem with your logic here is that you're assuming that just because Republicans oppose something, we automatically hate it. We don't hate gay people (okay, some people do, but they're idiots), we don't hate poor people, we don't have contempt for the middle class (Heck, we're IN the Middle CLass. I haven't got my allowance in roughly half a year, this recession is hitting my family so hard.), we don't hate minorities either.

And...wait a minute..you want porn on television? Ugh...this is in the attitude that it was once proposed that Kindergarteners should be warned about AIDS...with talking condoms. Good Lord, is there anything you want parents to be responsible for?

A lot of the right-wing talking heads on radio are clearly speaking out of hatred and rage. Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin... there are some reasonable right-wingers out there like Bill O'Reilly and (BARELY) Sean Hannity, but they're few and far between and their voices are being drowned out by the crazies. I'm not advocating the Fairness Doctrine just yet, but if the right-wing radio hosts can't learn to make their point without screaming and name-calling, then maybe we need some regulation.

Yes, I want them to be responsible for turning off the TV when they see their kid watching something they don't like instead of whining to the government and ruining it for everyone.

Parents dont want to be parents anymore, they want everyone else to raise their kids, and then complain that their kids arent good kids, and beg the gov't to do something.

The ones that hate Obama arent giving him a fair shot, they are focusing too hard on his past, and on issues that arent even important, I say give the guy a chance, and if he doesnt make any difference to the way things are, then we dont vote for him again, that is what the elections are for. Honestly, it will take a while for things to change, but I hope that he can at least get the ball rolling in the right direction. It may not happen overnight, which is what some people expect, but they need to come down to Earth and realize that change is an everlasting process.

You don't like what you hear? Use your television advice for de radio.

Rush screams? He's a crazy? Dude, have you even HEARD most of his schtik? He's pompous, I'll give you that, but...wha? Same with Laura Ingraham. she doesn't suger-coat her words. EVERY radio host screams. Every one. And when was the last time you heard one of them claim that mean words will start a Civil War, and the Chinese will kill us?

AND, meanness is not filth. Shouting isn't morally questionable. It's okay to feel mad, it's okay to express your opinion, and it's okay to question what you hear. This is America. Shouting is okay. This is freedom of speech in action. I don't listen to Air America (who does?) because I don't like what I hear. I don't petition my Congressman to make them stop saying the mean words and get me a warm glass of milk, a job, and a life.

mmm yes JF your right, that being said it's people like those "respected" members of the media that contribute to soil the name of news media. THeir slanted, their heads are far up their rears, and why? is it because they might actually believe the garbage they shoot out? No, it's because people with extreme views make good money talking about crap they dont full understand.

Hell look at what happened when Chris Benoit died. They only sought out people that had left the WWE on bad terms that would bad mouth the company. And anytime someone broke from that mold, like Kevin Nash, the media plaid those people off like idiots.

Eh, I'd vote for Palin, if she grows up a bit.

She acted like a baby at times, refusing to be briefed.

Eh, 4 years is a lot of time, and we just got done with an election. Let's wait a bit for speculation.

Just like the Iraq War.

That would be an interesting turnout, though.
I'd honestly vote for <s>Hitlery</s> Hillary, 'cuz <s>Falin</s> Palin can't run a country.
Her backup debate plan is to smile cutely and tell heartwarming hockey-mom stories.

Okay, I'll take the bait.

Why do you say Palin can't run a country? Governer and Mayor are both executive positions on a smaller scale. Now, given a bit of studying these four years and the willingness to be coached a bit througout, I honestly think Palin would be a pretty good reformer.

Take a look at this, and compare it to the previous debates. See the similarities.
