I was talking with the director, Jerome Mouscadet, the other day and he was saying that only the first few and last episodes of this season could be "episodic" and he found this very frustrating. I hope the end of this season will make up for your frustration.

If he's so frustrated, and he's the director...cant he do something about it? Maybe not for S2, but at least for S3.

Maybe we should e-mail CN and explain that we prefer "connected" episodes, because they clearly believe that their audience doesn't. If we don't all seem like we're from the same site, maybe they'll notice us...

And from what I've heard (and partly seen) - the first four/five eps of Season 2 are effectivly each a continuation of the one before it.

Thanks! That's exactly what I meant! And it really is one of the many things that makes CL so cool. It's quite unconventional for a cartoon to do that. Code Lyoko is unique in every aspect.
The first 5 episodes do effectively create a continuity. And the events that happen in them are still referred to in later episodes. There really is a decent amount of continuity to Code Lyoko. ^_^
