Episode idea: Power Loss (Odd-focused episode)

Hmm...I've read this through and I like the idea of Odd having flashbacks - perhaps this is also an oppurtunity to homage Garage Kids -

Garage kids flashbacks could be a whole episode in and of themselves.

And then we get Odd's last memory before he passed out, and all the footage we see and hear plays back in reverse very quickly, the RTTP sound-effect plays and the screen collapses down into a white dot. Cue the sounds of a heart-monitor flat-lining.

BLIP-BLIP-BLIP-BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

"Program Core collapse detected. Recovering to safe area."

Next time the kids are in Lyoko, they stumbled across a guardian, with what hhas been recovered of Odd's mind (and soul) held within... a fail-safe Franz intended for Aelita, but which seems to have Odd tagged as important enough to save.

And possibly end the episode there on a cliff-hanger. By stretching it out we could have another episode delving into some of the other character's pasts, and probably twist the outcome a bit. What do you think?

That reminds me a lot of LOST and how they take each episode and show you a character at a certain moment in their life, leading up to how they got onto the island...

D'you think the kids could get away with moving Odd's body to the factory and loading it into a deactivated scanner - that way once they recover his data they can recombine it with his body and then RTTP to prevent the adults asking as to why they kidnapped a comatose teenager.

The chances are we can't show a body on screen, so at the beginning of the ep Odd should resussitate and then the kids kidnap him (I'd love for Jim to be part of the team by this point because I can see him driving crazily around town with a comatose Odd in the backseat and the police chasing him!)

Wait a sec, Rhys! There's just one thing missing. One very important detail. How will Jimbo and Sissi know about Lyoko again? And if so, how do they prove themselves worthy to become members?

Well if you recall we've already written an ep where Sissi remembers (Children of the Night), and planned out a story-arc for hr becoming a full team-member. I'm not sure whether she should go to Lyoko or not in this ep.

As for Jim, he could be reintroduced to the concept of Lyoko in the 1st episode of Power Loss and then be a help to the team here - I know David Gasma would revel the oppurtunity. And this time, Jim should remember!

hasnt it been theorised here that the memory of all the events, say in code:earth and False start could be hidden away locked inside Jim's mind? ( i think ive read someone say something like that...) you could say that XANA tried unsuccesfully to drain Jim of energy but only really ended up unlokcing these memories... no?

Maybe they can find Odd''s soul in Sector 5. I dunno how they'd reassimilate it back into his body, though.

Simple - load Odd into the scanner, virtualise his body into a folder, combine that with his soul/mental data - BADABINGBDABOOM - he's bacl on his feet and ready to annoy everyone again!

I don't think he'd feel any ill effects - remember that everytime they go through the scanners their bodies are destroyed and the conciousness (and thus their souls), are sent to Lyoko.

I suggest that his energy should be first drained whiile in Lyoko. Sector 5 is the location. As soon as the Scyphozoa's tentacles touch (still can't figure out where on Odd's body), a computer readout similar to the one that comes up when Aelita's memory is stolen appears. "What's going on? Ah--oh no!" Jeremie says.
