OH! and one more thing...do I have to give credit or anything to code lyoko? becuase it's just a fan forum.

You need to add a disclamer stating that Code Lyoko is owned by Antefilms/Moonscoop and stuff, or else they could probably sue,or if not, it least you give them the credit they deserve

if you are doing it with bare HTML, than use the <footer></footer> tags I believe

if not, there should be an option to add a footer

If it will just be a forum, just put a disclamer in the Rules

If I were you, I wouldn't use the <footer> tag (I'm pretty sure it's obsolete now). Just put in three or four <br> tags and then something like this:

May I make a suggestion? If you register your own domain, it would probably be a better idea to call it lyokovirus.net rather than .com. This is because .com stands for "commerical" which suggests that you're profiting off of your site. (And profiting off of fan-whatever, be it a website or art or fiction or etc, is a big no-no. They can sue you for that.)

Also, in most cases, registering .com domains costs a little bit more.

I don't think there's anywhere you can get a domain name for free. Registering domains with my host costs about $15 dollars, last I checked. (But the webspace is $10/mo. If you sign up with them and buy a plan you get one domain for free.)

If you don't mind ads, you might consider www.dot.tk ... They're free and you get a www.whatever.tk domain name when you sign up. (The ads are absolutely hideous, though, and if you're serious about maintaining a website, I would strongly recommend you pay for your hosting.)
