- how are you all actually - I haven't been around as much as I'd like so how is everyone in the old gang?
STOP!!!!!! This isn't over! We can't give up yet! I have a program that you programmers can use. If someone can tell me how to upload it, then maybe y'all can get something on there. Even if the graphics aren't too good, it's better than nothing! It should also be very compatible with Basic codes like Quick Basic. I also have some pics from the DVD, which should help some of you people. As soon as I upload it to my Putfile profile, it will help out alot. I also have a program called hexworks, and that should help alot in the de-bugging. I can also be a great help if someone could teach me how to use these freakin' codes! As for getting people together, what are we doing here? I also know some people that might be able to help out. They're @ http://lyoko.conforums3.com and @ http://www.codelyoko.com/forum, and @ http://osiria-Lyoko.co.uk. And as for administration, TB3 can take charge right? If no one else will lead, I shall!!!Daegon wrote:It should also be very compatible with Basic codes like Quick Basic.
TB3 wrote:I'd just like to add in relation to recent activity here and several PMs I've recieved, that Project XANADU is pretty much dead. I'm sorry, but it had to be said.
There were several problems we faced:
1. Expense - the ideal 3D software we needed costs a lot of money.2. Leadership - JeremyHopper, the project conceptualist, vanished during initial discussions and has yet to resurface - ideally we need a leader figure for those taking part to rally around.3. Administration - practically, it's very difficult to get multiple individuals in various areas of the world to work together as a group without an established administrative system to run and organise everything.
Unless these problems and many others can adressed, XANADU is dead in the water, which is a pity IMO, but there's not much than can be done about it.
